Cable TV Advertising

Cable TV Advertising

Who said that the internet would take over? Using television as a channel to distribute advertisements are far more effective in terms of reach and frequency; compared to print ads, Cable TV Advertising is able to observe the channels and time of day, viewers are tuned in to a program. (Neilson Box) Cable TV Advertising is, also, another way to niche your Target Audience; a toy product would be advertised on a child's program and a new cooking recipe would be advertised on a home cooking program. Cable TV Advertising provides the niche needed to reach a specific target audience. Cable TV Advertising is not Network TV Advertising; Network TV Advertising is National Advertising with all the basic and free channels. Cable TV Advertising is all the ads you would see on TBS, ESPN, TNT, MTV, etc... Cable TV Advertising, also allows you to place ads based on Geographic’s, called Spot TV Advertising. Any type of TV Advertising is a 'push' method, whereas, Internet Advertising is more of a 'pull' method; the audience has, at least, an idea of what they are looking for, therefore, creating a need for specific information. (Pull Company for Information) A person, watching Cable TV, sees a commercial for Wal-Mart, this is 'push'(The Company Is Pushing Information To The Viewer) In any case, the intention and purpose of Cable TV Advertising is to generate Traffic and Revenue If you think you can't afford to advertise on television, think again--and look into this less-expensive TV ad option
